The long variant of the four-door Sedan will be available exclusively for the Chinese market. At the Beijing Motor Show, we’ll see the world premiere of the 2020 Mercedes A-Class L Sedan i.e. the elongated sedan bodywork variant of the compact baby girl from Stuttgart. Designed for the Chinese market, the three volumes of Germany will certainly be a big success thanks to the lengthened step of 6 centimeters and the greater space on board offered in this case to the rear passengers.
The four-door long version of Stuttgart will be produced exclusively in Beijing by BMS, a joint venture created by Daimler together with the local partners of Baic. After being introduced to the Asian market from the second half of this year, the star sedan will also arrive on our continent in a less long variant.

2020 Mercedes A-Class L Sedan Engine Specs
To push the Sedan variant for the Chinese market we will think of new four-cylinder 1.3-liter turbo engines from 136 hp (A180L) and 163 hp (A200L) waiting for the debut of a 2.0-liter turbo from 190 hp. To support the engines we will find the automatic transmission double clutch 7G-DCT and the front wheel drive but in option you can have the integral traction 4Matic.
