Here is The New Update of 2020 Mazda MX-5 With the upgrade the next Japanese roadster will receive an injection of as many as 21 horsepowers.
The news seems to be certain, with the restyling of mid-life of the fourth generation, the Mazda MX-5 will receive that little bit of extra power to make it even more enjoyable and engaging to drive. A reveal is an official Canadian document that without too many frills brings back the technical data of the most sold Spider in the world in its new version ND-2.
2020 Mazda MX-5 Engine Specs; More powerful but always aspired
At the base, there will be the already well-known SkyActive-G engine, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder from well 181 hp that, despite the performance upgrade, will do without the supercharging while maintaining the linear delivery of the engine from 160 hp and improving the already excellent weight ratio /power. The performance increase, which has led the new engine to deliver well 181 hp and 204 Nm even surpassing the Abarth 124, is the result of lighter pistons and connecting rods, a new crankshaft, the improved suction system, a new throttle body, an exhaust freer and the adoption of a double-mass flywheel.
2020 Mazda MX-5 Redesign
Improvements that will give the new Miata not only more performance on the road, the 0-100 km/h, in fact, is stored in just 7 seconds, but also a more full-bodied sound and a limiter reported again at altitude 7,200 rpm. For the rest, the 2020 Mazda MX-5 will remain true to itself: excellent weight distribution, lightweight car body, rear wheel drive, well-designed manual gearbox, front suspension with deformable quadrilaterals and multilink rear.
The Japanese Spider could also see a small restyling both in the outside and in the interior, a slight increase in safety systems and driving assistance and an alignment to the latest anti-pollution regulations. But this news has not yet been confirmed so we just have to wait or try to understand something from the camouflaged prototypes adopted in the first tests in Portugal.
