2020 Honda Insight; The Refined Hybrid Car
2020 Honda Insight Have an Excellent performance, a design in the standard and a technological cockpit are the axes in the channel of the new Japanese sedan.
At the new York Auto show the Japanese Brand presented the final version of the 2020 Honda Insight. Appeared in Detroit in concept version, the electrified sedan of Honda House is commercially positioned between the Civic and the Accord from which it incorporates the main design styles and the modular platform.

Conceived to make volumes and to show with less ease the fact of being a hybrid variant, the almond-eyed sedan does not present the classic stylistic excesses normally seen on modern hybrid cars, see Toyota Prius. The same aerodynamic profile was found without resorting to particular design solutions that could make the silhouette not as pleasant or more like a spaceship.
Interior & Features
If the exteriors are simple, the interiors instead stand out for the value of technology adopted. The 8-inch infotainment touch display is combined with the 7-inch touchscreen of the on-board instrumentation.
There is of course Android car and Apple CarPlay, the 4g LTE WiFi module and a modern stereo system with 10 speakers. They close the circle materials of high quality, precise and refined combinations.
To push the new Honda Insight we will think a hybrid powetrain of the third generation series mounted on a modular platform lightened and improved under the aspect of comfort thanks to the front MacPherson suspension and multilink to the rear. The hybrid engine will adopt a 1.5 litre gasoline engine with Atkinson cycle, an electric motor powered by a lithium battery equipped with 60 cells and an electric motor in generator function.

Being a hybrid with series operation, in the new Insight the petrol engine for most of the time acts solely as a generator by recharging the batteries and feeding the main electric motor.
Only in extreme cases, maximum power for example, then the thermal motor goes to the aid of the electric motor so as to guarantee up to 151 HP of power and 267 Nm of maximum torque. Using the three driving modes (Normal, Econ and Sport), the new Insight according to Honda should guarantee up to 23.4 km/l in the urban environment in the US homologation cycle.
