Seat continues to expand its sub-brand Cupra with an SUV coupe. This is called Cupra Terramar, is derived from the Ateca and should come in 2020.
Seat has treated itself with the sub-brand Cupra a very sporty daughter. So far the only model under the Cupra label is the Cupra Ateca. From 2020, the SUV coupe will get set aside. This will be called Terramar and also based on the Ateca. The name Terramar derives from one of the oldest Spanish racecourses, the Autódromo de Sitges-Terramar, an oval course in the Barcelona region.
What the New Terramar will look like is shown on the internet leaked image. This shows a four-door with laterally retracted, lower designed roof section and strikingly shaped wheel arches front and rear. Despite the coupe-like roofline, the Terramar carries a roof rail. The Terramar face features a deeper and wider grille, as well as a newly formed front apron and new LED headlamps.
2020 Cupra Terramar Engine Specs; 300 hp and four-wheel drive
The SUV Terramar will take over the complete drive technology from the Cupra Ateca. So he gets the slightly modified two-liter turbo engine from the Leon Cupra 300, the eponymous 300 hp and 400 Nm torque makes. This is coupled with a four-wheel drive and a seven-speed DSG. The Ateca is thus 247 km/h fast and 43,450 euros expensive. The Terramar SUV should be a touch faster and a little more expensive.
Cupra Terramar Release Date & Price
we should see This Beast in the dealership in 2020, for a price of around 45,000 depending on the model. So far, that is all that we can say, for further information, we will update here.
